We are seeking an experienced General Duty Assistant (GDA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care and ensuring a smooth operational flow within the healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist nursing staff in providing direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobilization of patients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Help patients with basic needs and ensure their comfort.
• Assist with the transportation of patients within the facility as required.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care and support.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a General Duty Assistant or a similar program.
• Proven experience as a GDA or in a similar role in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Knowledge of basic patient care practices and hygiene standards.
