Job Description

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, your role involves engineering, automating, and orchestrating system provisioning and maintenance processes using modern cloud tools and technologies. You will be responsible for designing and building technical solutions on the Cloud, as well as planning, designing, and developing cloud-based solutions. Your understanding of the needs for new initiatives will drive the creation of scalable, distributed, and high-performance computing cloud-based platform solutions on AWS, Google, Azure, or other cloud platforms. Collaboration with solutions architects will be a key aspect of your role, as you work towards managing cloud environments in accordance with NTT DATA's security guidelines. Deploying and debugging Cloud initiatives as needed, while following best practices throughout the development lifecycle, will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will perform system administration tasks such as configuration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and support, with a focus on innovating to automate processes wherever possible. Installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting applications and servers in public cloud environments will be integral to your duties. You will also be responsible for operating system and software application installation, patching, and upgrades. Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives and providing associated training as required will be essential for successful project execution. Troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by monitoring systems and submitted through the ticketing system will be part of your daily routine. It is important to ensure that all issues are fully documented, along with the actions taken and steps for resolution. Additionally, you may be required to perform other tasks as defined, planned, and approved by leadership.,
