About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage
security controls
within
GCP

environments
.
Conduct
risk assessments
, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigations.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage and monitor
Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC Security, Firewalls, and Encryption
.
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to integrate
security best practices
in CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor security events and respond to incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
Provide recommendations for
GCP

architecture hardening
and
data protection
.

Mandatory Skills

Strong expertise in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Security
.
Hands-on experience with
IAM, VPC, Firewalls, KMS, Security Command Center
.
Good understanding of
network security, cloud compliance, and encryption
.
Experience in implementing
security policies, monitoring, and threat detection
in GCP.
Familiarity with
DevSecOps practices
and integration of security tools in CI/CD.

Good to Have

GCP Security certifications (
Professional Cloud Security Engineer
) good to have .
Exposure to
other cloud platforms
(AWS/Azure).
Knowledge of
container security
(Kubernetes, GKE, Docker).
Experience in
incident response
and
SIEM tools
.
