Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and design
scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Kubernetes Engine).
Lead cloud strategy
and roadmap development aligned with business goals.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using tools like Terraform or Google Deployment Manager.
Ensure security compliance
through best practices in IAM, data encryption, and network security.
Collaborate with development and operations teams
to integrate cloud solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor and optimize
cloud performance using tools like Stackdriver Monitoring and Logging.
Conduct audits and performance tuning
to maintain high availability and reliability.
Stay current
with GCP updates and emerging cloud technologies to drive innovation.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on GCP.
Strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash).
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
Experience with multi-cloud environments.

Background in enterprise-level cloud migration projects.
