Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Work closely with business stakeholders in the banking domain to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
Perform advanced data analysis, data mining, and reporting using Python, SAS, and GCP BigQuery.
Build and optimize analytical models for risk, credit, fraud detection, customer segmentation, and other banking-related use cases.
Develop dashboards, MIS reports, and insights to support business decisions.
Ensure data quality, validation, and governance across multiple sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, Technology, Data Science) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.

Preferred candidate profile

Hands-on experience in analytics roles (
Banking/Financial Services domain mandatory
).
Strong expertise in
Python
(pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, visualization libraries).
Proficiency in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
with deep working knowledge of
BigQuery
.
Hands-on experience with
SAS
for analytics, reporting, or modeling.
Strong
SQL
skills for querying large datasets.
Experience with
Pig or Hive
for data processing.
Understanding of banking processes risk management, credit, fraud, customer lifecycle, regulatory reporting, etc.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking ability.
