Role Overview

The Gate Automation technician needs to Integrate and work as a Specialist who is responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining automated gate systems for residential and commercial properties, ensuring seamless connection with smart home and smart office platforms for long-term convenience, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, install, and configure automatic gate systems for homes, offices, and complexes, tailored to customers' unique needs.

· Integrate gates with smart home and smart office platforms (e.g. Alexa, Google Assistant, proprietary smart hubs), enabling remote management, voice control, and real-time monitoring.

· Collaborate with homeowners, business representatives, architects, and contractors to specify automation requirements, compatibility, and long-term integration plans.

· Ensure robust security protocols, including biometric authentication, surveillance integration, and secure access control.

· Provide comprehensive training and documentation to clients covering use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems.

· Perform diagnostics, scheduled maintenance, and repair of gate automation systems, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.

· Stay up-to-date with advancements in IoT, smart home/office protocols, and automation technologies for future-proof solutions.

· Record work performed, maintain project logs, and offer recommendations for upgrades or system expansions.

Required Qualifications

· Diploma or degree in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, or a closely related field.

· Proven experience with gate automation, access control systems, and IoT/smart home technologies.

· Knowledge of integration protocols (Wi-Fi, Z-Wave, Zigbee, proprietary smart home platforms).

· Strong troubleshooting, installation, and customer-service skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in field and office settings.

Desired Skills

· Experience with smart security systems, mobile apps, and automation scripting.

· Effective communication with technical and non-technical clients.

Note:

• Allowances as per site and project visits
• Company accommodation provided
• Need a two wheeler with license
• 3 months probation. Post that salary hike based on performance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
