Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Gastroenterologist based in Raurkela. The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the digestive system, including conducting endoscopic and diagnostic procedures. Day-to-day tasks include patient consultations, performing both invasive and non-invasive treatments, prescribing medication, and collaborating with other medical professionals to ensure effective patient care. The role also involves keeping up-to-date with advancements in gastroenterology and participating in hospital-led research or educational activities.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise and experience in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and related fields
• Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as Endoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy
• In-depth knowledge of Medicine, including patient-care principles and treatment planning
• Commitment to ongoing education and staying updated with advancements in medical technology and treatment options
• Board certification and a valid medical license
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable
