As a UI/UX Designer at XSQUADS, your role involves designing intuitive and visually appealing UI elements for menus, HUD, inventory, settings, and in-game screens. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to enhance game navigation and interactions. Collaboration with game designers, developers, and UI motion designers will be essential to implement user-friendly layouts. Additionally, you will optimize UI/UX for various screen sizes and resolutions across mobile, tablet, PC, and console platforms. Developing style guides, icon sets, and UI components to maintain visual consistency will also be part of your responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design intuitive and visually appealing UI elements for various in-game screens. - Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to enhance game navigation. - Collaborate with game designers, developers, and UI motion designers. - Optimize UI/UX for multiple screen sizes and resolutions across platforms. - Develop style guides, icon sets, and UI components for visual consistency. - Conduct user testing and feedback analysis to improve usability and player engagement. - Work closely with UI Motion Designers to integrate animations and transitions. - Utilize AI-assisted design tools and prototyping software for workflow efficiency. - Stay updated on game UI/UX trends, usability best practices, and emerging technologies. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer in the gaming or interactive media industry. - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Strong understanding of game UI design principles, player interaction, and usability. - Experience in designing adaptive UI for multiple platforms. - Familiarity with Unity UI, Unreal UMG, or other game engine UI systems. - Ability to create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes. - Strong visual hierarchy, typography, and iconography skills. - Good collaboration and communication skills. - Preferred skills in UI scripting (C#, Blueprint, or JavaScript), motion graphics, and UI animations. - Understanding of game UX psychology and player behavior analysis. - Passion for gaming, design, and interactive storytelling.
