Game UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to conceptualize and enhance user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and captivating experience for players. As a UI/UX Designer at XSQUADS, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing UI elements for menus, HUD, inventory, settings, and in-game screens. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to enhance game navigation and interactions. Collaboration with game designers, developers, and UI motion designers will be essential to implement user-friendly layouts. Additionally, you will optimize UI/UX for various screen sizes and resolutions across mobile, tablet, PC, and console platforms. Developing style guides, icon sets, and UI components to maintain visual consistency will also be part of your role. Conducting user testing and feedback analysis to improve usability and player engagement will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Working closely with UI Motion Designers to integrate animations and transitions for a polished user experience is also crucial. Utilizing AI-assisted design tools and prototyping software to enhance workflow efficiency is encouraged. Staying updated on game UI/UX trends, usability best practices, and emerging technologies is essential to excel in this role. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a UI/UX Designer in the gaming or interactive media industry. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator is required. A strong understanding of game UI design principles, player interaction, and usability is necessary. Experience in designing adaptive UI for multiple platforms and familiarity with Unity UI, Unreal UMG, or other game engine UI systems are desired skills. The ability to create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes is a must. Strong visual hierarchy, typography, and iconography skills are important for this role. Good collaboration and communication skills are essential to effectively work with developers and artists. Preferred skills include experience with UI scripting (C#, Blueprint, or JavaScript), knowledge of motion graphics and UI animations, and understanding of game UX psychology and player behavior analysis.
