We are in search of a talented UI/UX Designer who can design and enhance user interfaces to provide players with a seamless and engaging gaming experience. As a UI/UX Designer at XSQUADS Tech Private Limited, your responsibilities will include designing intuitive and visually appealing UI elements for menus, HUD, inventory, settings, and in-game screens. You will be tasked with creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to optimize game navigation and interactions. Collaboration with game designers, developers, and UI motion designers will be essential to implement user-friendly layouts. Additionally, you will need to ensure that the UI/UX is optimized for various screen sizes and resolutions across mobile, tablet, PC, and console platforms. Developing style guides, icon sets, and UI components to maintain visual consistency will also be part of your role. Conducting user testing and feedback analysis to improve usability and player engagement is another crucial aspect of the job. Working closely with UI Motion Designers to integrate animations and transitions for a polished gaming experience will be required. Utilizing AI-assisted design tools and prototyping software is encouraged to enhance workflow efficiency. Staying updated on game UI/UX trends, usability best practices, and emerging technologies is expected to bring innovation to the projects. The ideal candidate for this position should have proven experience as a UI/UX Designer in the gaming or interactive media industry. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software is necessary. A strong understanding of game UI design principles, player interaction, and usability is essential. Experience in designing adaptive UI for multiple platforms and familiarity with Unity UI, Unreal UMG, or other game engine UI systems are advantageous. The ability to create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes is crucial. A keen sense of visual hierarchy, typography, and iconography is required. Good collaboration and communication skills are vital to work effectively with developers and artists. Preferred skills for this role include experience with UI scripting (C#, Blueprint, or JavaScript) for interactive elements, knowledge of motion graphics and UI animations for enhanced user experience, and an understanding of game UX psychology and player behavior analysis. A passion for gaming, design, and interactive storytelling is highly valued.
