As a UX Motion Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for our products. Collaborating closely with our team of dedicated Product designers, you will be responsible for incorporating seamless motion design elements that enhance the overall usability of our products. Your primary responsibilities will include working in tandem with Product designers and developers to brainstorm creative solutions to design challenges. You will then translate these ideas into polished and production-ready solutions through the use of UI transitions, micro-interactions, and character animations. Your collaboration with developers will ensure the accurate implementation of these motion design elements to achieve the desired user experience. In addition to your design duties, you will also be tasked with advocating for the importance of motion design within the team. By engaging in discussions with fellow designers and stakeholders, you will promote the value of motion design as a tool for enhancing visual communication and user engagement. You will also have the opportunity to explore new and experimental avenues in motion design to further elevate our products. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in motion design, with a focus on creating Motion Graphics and UI Animations. A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in micro-interactions, UI animations, and character animations is essential. Proficiency in tools such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and experience with Lottie JSON animations will be beneficial. Your enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies in motion design, coupled with your ability to collaborate effectively with Designers and Researchers, will be key to your success in this role. A solid command of visual and communication design principles, along with the storytelling ability through motion, will be essential. Moreover, your awareness of visual trends in entertainment, gaming, and mobile app spaces will be advantageous.
