Game Developer Intern

We are looking for a talented and passionate Unity Developer to join our growing game development team at Emergio. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Unity, C#, gameplay programming, and the development cycle of mobile/PC games. You will work closely with designers, artists, and testers to build high-quality games and interactive experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team in coding gameplay features, mechanics, and systems.

• Assist in debugging and fixing bugs in existing code.

• Help in creating game assets integration, including animations, UI elements, and sounds.

• Participate in game testing to identify performance or functional issues.

• Work with designers, artists, and developers to implement new ideas and features.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Learn and use tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, or other game engines (based on company needs).

• Contribute to prototype development for new concepts and features.

• Stay updated with latest trends in game development and technologies.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of C#, C++, or Python (depending on engine).

• Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine.

• Understanding of game design principles and gameplay mechanics.

• Problem-solving and logical thinking skills.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Passion for gaming and creativity.

Preferred Skills (Optional but Useful)

• Knowledge of 2D/3D graphics or animation tools.

• Basic understanding of UI/UX design for games.

• Experience with version control tools like Git.

• Exposure to physics engines or AI for games.

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Any degree Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, IT, Engineering, or any related field.

• Final-year students or recent graduates preferred.

• Portfolio or GitHub projects (even small ones) are an added advantage.
