Furniture Designer

You will be joining a Civil, Structural & Interior contracting company known as MECPL, which prioritizes quality construction, timely project completion, and exceptional after-sales service for industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and a skilled workforce, MECPL stands as a leader in the construction industry. Your primary role as a Furniture Designer will be a full-time on-site position based in Pune. In this capacity, you will be entrusted with the task of designing furniture, overseeing carpentry work, managing interior design projects, and engaging in product design activities on a daily basis. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong skill set in Furniture Design, Interior Design, and Product Design, along with proficiency in Carpentry and Furniture craftsmanship. Previous experience in furniture design and interior design projects is highly beneficial. A solid understanding of various materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes is essential. Your keen attention to detail, creativity, as well as your communication and teamwork skills, will be crucial for success in this role. Ideally, you should hold a degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, or a related field. Your responsibilities will include identifying new product opportunities, aligning product designs with market needs and consumer preferences, and establishing design requirements based on input from internal teams and external partners. Additionally, you will be required to conduct research on materials and techniques, create design drafts either manually or digitally (e.g., using CAD software), develop prototypes, assess functionality, and enhance the design of existing products.,
