Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Furniture Designer based in Noida, with some work from home acceptable. The Furniture Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and functional furniture designs, developing detailed blueprints, and selecting appropriate materials. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with clients to understand their needs, working closely with production teams, and staying updated with current design trends. The role also involves producing prototypes, overseeing the manufacturing process, and ensuring designs meet quality and safety standards. Qualifications Proficiency in furniture design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and strong drawing skills. Experience in material selection, crafting techniques, and knowledge of production processes. Ability to collaborate with clients and production teams, and excellent communication skills. Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or related field. Understanding of current design trends and the ability to innovate within them. Experience in project management is a plus.
