Furnace Operator

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Furnace Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of furnaces to ensure optimal performance and product quality while adhering to safety and environmental standards. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining production efficiency and meeting our companys high-quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Operate and monitor furnace systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency
• Adjust temperature, pressure, and other parameters to maintain optimal furnace performance
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of furnace equipment
• Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with team members to implement best practices in furnace operation and safety
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records of furnace operations

Required and Preferred Qualifications-:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience operating industrial furnaces
• Strong understanding of furnace operations, maintenance, and safety standards
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently

Preferred: -

• Technical certification in manufacturing or metallurgy
• Experience with automated furnace systems
• Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies-:

• Proficient in operating furnace control systems and monitoring software
• Experience with data analysis tools to track furnace performance
• Familiarity with safety equipment and protocols in a manufacturing environment
