As a CNC, VMC Maintenance Technician at our company, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of CNC and VMC machines. Roles and Responsibilities Machinery and Spare Parts Management Prepare and regularly update the List of Machinery and List of Critical Spares . Ensure critical spare parts are available to avoid unplanned downtime. Preventive Maintenance Activities Inspect machines according to the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Schedule . Initiate and execute timely preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. Fill and maintain daily PM checklists and Autonomous Maintenance Check Sheets . Breakdown Maintenance Attend to faults and breakdown complaints received from concerned departments. Repair machines and restore normal operations as quickly as possible. Communicate breakdown details and actions taken to the Maintenance Manager. Take prompt corrective action to avoid repeated issues. Documentation and Reporting Maintain machine history records in accordance with system guidelines. Role & responsibilities Responsible for driving and managing the ad-hoc mechanical maintenance of the Ferro Alloy Unit (FAU) production unit, including but not limited to planning, scheduling, executing, and documenting all maintenance activities aimed at ensuring maximum health and efficiency of the production and ancillary units. Also responsible for managing continuous improvement and cost control/ reduction programs for all mechanical maintenance activities. Functional Skills Excellent knowledge and experience of driving maintenance programs as well as addressing unscheduled maintenance requests. Strong experience of key manufacturing principles, various maintenance types and associated activities and audits. Proven track record of driving process improvement and conducting Root Cause Analysis Expertise with MS Office suite, especially with Excel.
