Functional Consultant - Finance Module

Role Overview: As a Functional Consultant for Finance Module in the IT Projects department based in Chennai, your primary job purpose will be to take charge of project management & execution, ensure operational efficiency, handle clients/customers to understand their requirements and provide solutions, and adhere to quality management principles in implementing processes and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Follow the project schedule diligently and ensure the delivery of requirements on time. Monitor the project progress and provide timely reports to stakeholders. - Communicate clearly and consistently with the team, ensuring that all communication is comprehensive. - Provide effective product training to customers and internal teams, sharing knowledge and gaining expertise in relevant tools & technologies. - Proactively work on identifying and resolving issues, monitoring and maintaining the ratio of open tickets vs. completed tickets in the areas you handle. - Understand customers" individualized requirements, explain the system in relation to their needs, prepare Gap Documents, and suggest workarounds to meet customer requirements. - Ensure all documents are prepared following the prescribed procedure and using approved templates. - Set personal goals, focus on achieving them, and exhibit clear communication and presentation skills. - Notify the Project Manager about key project risks or blockages. - Actively participate and contribute to operational and project update meetings. - Engage in the development, testing, and complete functional testing before deployment at the customer environment. Qualification Required: - Any graduate with relevant domain experience, with B.E/B. Tech or MBA preferred. - Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role.,
