Full Stack Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer (Full Stack) at SkySlopes, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions across the full stack using technologies such as Angular, Node.js, and Google Spanner. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables independently. - Participating in team discussions to shape processes, architecture, and solutions. - Contributing to sprint deliverables and peer code reviews. - Collaborating with engineers, QA, and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality, maintainable releases. - Continuously learning and applying new technologies relevant to SkySlopes platforms. - Increasing domain knowledge around products, clients, and accounting-related business logic. - Communicating honestly, openly, and respectfully with all team members. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5-10 years of professional experience in software development. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with experience in Angular (v12+) and Node.js (Express or NestJS). - Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and distributed systems. - Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JSON. - Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Spanner, or similar databases like PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL, or Aurora. - Experience with unit testing, source control (Git), and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Desirable experience includes familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, or LoopBack, cloud platforms like GCP or AWS, containerization tools such as Docker/Kubernetes, knowledge of accounting systems or financial data workflows, experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, and background with C#/.NET, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
