Job Description

OpenCart & Laravel Developer

e-commerce projects, SaaS modules, custom extensions, REST APIs, and backend features



🛠️ Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and customize

    OpenCart modules, themes, and extensions

  • Build new

    Laravel-based features, APIs, and backend services

  • Handle

    OpenCart multistore, custom pricing, payment gateway, and shipping integration

  • Optimize website performance, speed, and security
  • Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain existing systems
  • Work with MySQL databases (queries, joins, optimization)
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and project managers
  • Write clean, well-structured, reusable code


📚 Required Skills



OpenCart

  • Strong understanding of

    OCMOD / VQMOD

  • Experience with

    module development

  • Theme modifications (Twig)
  • Payment + Shipping integration
  • Multistore setup & custom pricing logic


Laravel

  • Laravel 8/9/10 development
  • REST API creation & integration
  • Middleware, Queues, Jobs, Events
  • Blade templates / Eloquent ORM
  • API authentication (JWT / Passport / Sanctum)


General Tech Skills

  • PHP 7/8
  • MySQL
  • jQuery / JavaScript
  • Git / GitHub / Bitbucket
  • cPanel, Linux basic commands (optional but good)


🎓 Experience

  • 2–3 years

    of hands-on experience in PHP development
  • At least

    1+ year of OpenCart development

  • At least

    1+ year of Laravel development
