Description
Role Overview: As a Full Stack Lead at Purview, you will be responsible for designing and developing Group Data Technology owned Applications/services. Your role involves providing technical leadership to the team to develop and deploy applications in an Agile manner. You will be focusing on driving the design and implementation of cloud-native applications/services, including APIs/microservices built using the Spring Boot framework. Your experience with frontend, backend, and database technologies on the cloud will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement frontend and backend features based on backlog priorities. - Collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch new features. - Resolve issues and respond to feature requests from internal customers. - Build APIs and microservices to solve business problems. - Work in an agile CI/CD environment to deliver rapid iterations at a sustained velocity. - Support teams in socializing their APIs on the Internal API Developer Portal. - Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of overall experience in a professional software engineering organization as a hands-on developer. - 3+ years in a lead engineer role managing, building, and delivering business solutions with frontend and backend elements. - Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both business and technology audiences. - Expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, microservices, modern GUIs, Cloud deployment, and DevOps. - Proficiency in frontend languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, and Angular. - Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. - Stable work background with design, development, and integration experience on cloud platforms in a continuous delivery environment. - Experience with deploying microservices to Kubernetes. - Expert-level experience with REST APIs, open API development, SOA concepts, and design patterns. - Hands-on experience designing and building REST APIs. - Experience in Developer Process Automation (CI/CD & Code Management) using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, etc. - Experience with Service Virtualization, Functional and Performance Tests. - Experience in designing cloud-native applications is a plus. - Nice to have experience with Kong API Gateway or similar API gateway products. - Working experience as a consultant across different domains/firms with exposure to various technology platforms and architecture models is advantageous.
