About the Role

We are looking for a Full-stack Engineer with strong product-building experience across the front-end, back-end, and data layers. You'll work on applications that bring together modern web technologies, scalable cloud infrastructure, and applied AI/LLM solutions. A successful candidate will have hands-on expertise with React/TypeScript, FastAPI (Python), and Snowflake, and be comfortable deploying and operating systems in AWS.

Experience with LangChain and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or pgvector) is a major plus, as you'll contribute to features that leverage LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation.

What you'll do:

• Build and maintain scalable web applications using React/TypeScript (front-end) and FastAPI/Python (back-end).
• Design and optimize data models and SQL queries in Snowflake, including handling semi-structured data (VARIANT).
• Architect and deploy cloud-based services on AWS ECS/Fly.io, integrating with SES (email) and Secrets Manager.
• Implement authentication and authorization flows (JWT, MFA) and ensure application security best practices.
• Develop LangChain-powered services, integrating vector databases for semantic search, RAG pipelines, and conversational AI features.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, ensuring reliable, automated deployments.
• Write robust unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Profile and debug applications for performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (data, product, design) to deliver new features end-to-end.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers.

What you'll bring:

• 58 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and front-end best practices.
• Strong back-end development experience with Python (FastAPI or similar).
• Experience with Snowflake SQL (including VARIANT).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, Fly.io, SES, Secrets Manager).
• Familiarity with authentication/security frameworks (JWT, MFA).
• Experience building and deploying CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
• Strong background in software testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Experience with LangChain (agents, chains, retrievers) and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, etc).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
• Exposure to data engineering workflows and LLM application patterns.
