Job Description

As a Full Stack developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing components and features independently in IBM India Systems Development Lab. ISDL works on end-to-end design and development across Power, z and Storage portfolio. You would be a part of WW Storage development organization and would be involved in designing, developing and discussing product delivery & strategy. Key roles and responsibilities include

Develop IBM Cloud based SaaS application

Design and be an avid coder who can get his hands dirty and be involved in the coding to the deepest level.

Work in an Agile environment of continuous deliverable.

You will contribute using technologies such as Java, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like Angular & React while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.

Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise

3 to 7Years of relevant Industry Experience

Understanding and experience with Cloud Technologies, Microservices Architecture and container technologies.

Understanding and experience with Full Stack Development

Understanding and experience with DevOps, Agile, and Design/Implementation within CI/CD and Secure Software Engineering Best Practices

Understanding and experience writing and executing Unit and Integration Tests as part of Test Driven DevOps Development

Understanding and experience with RESTful APIs, Ansible, Java, Kafka & GitHub.

Software engineering experience designing Enterprise Cloud Applications with JavaScript, Typescript, JSP, NodeJS, HTML, CSS , Python etc.,

Strong experience integrating with no sql databases like cassandara.

Experience working with open-source technologies.

Experience implementing distributed applications in a container environment (Docker/Kubernetes) along with experience configuring and administrating Linux (or other Unix-like) systems

Understanding of Networking concepts and experience in Network development.

Knowledge of security and compliance standards & requirements

Strong proficiency in Java, NodeJS, JavaScript and TypeScript.

Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular and React.

Experience with IBM Carbon Design system.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Domain Knowledge on storage system management.

Worked on creating products for Cloud.

Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and practices (e.g.,Jest,JUnit,Jasmine).
