FTE -- Software, Test Principal Technical Expert

In this Job, you will be part of our EcoStruxure Innovation Journey. Our 3 layered EcoStruxure platform consisting of Connected Devices, Edge Control, Apps/Analytics Services on Cloud. You will be contributing in developing core technologies related to Edge Control layer of the EcoStruxure platform.

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in testing Windows applications developed on C# WPF, with extensive knowledge of the TestComplete tool or any other automation tool that supports testing Windows applications. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in creating manual test suites .

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using TestComplete or other suitable automation tools for Windows applications developed on C# WPF.

• Create and maintain manual test suites to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

• Identify , document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.

• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

• Analyze test results, identify trends, and report findings to stakeholders.

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

• Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of professional experience in software testing.

• Extensive experience with TestComplete or other automation tools such as WinAppDriver , Winium , or Ranorex

• Strong knowledge of Windows applications developed on C# WPF.

• Proficient in creating and executing manual test suites .

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Experience in performance and load testing.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
