Job Description

Role Summary We are seeking a Software Test Engineer Consultant to define and implement a test strategy for our automation framework team. You will be responsible for driving test coverage, quality gates, and requirements validation across the software stack, working alongside developers and automation engineers to ensure our releases are stable, scalable, and compliant with user expectations. Key Responsibilities Design and document a comprehensive test concept for the IPF framework team and RDDF4IO, covering integration, functional, system, and regression testing. Develop test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices aligned with requirements. Improve existing test infrastructure and recommend tools/methodologies as needed. Establish quality metrics and regularly report test coverage and defect trends. Lead root-cause analysis of defects and provide input for continuous improvement. Collaborate with development engineers to embed testing earlier in the development cycle.
