As a Senior Business side professional at EY, you will play a crucial role in multiple workstreams or clients as part of the BAU/Production team. Your responsibilities will include interacting with stakeholders, facilitating conversations between Business and Technology, working independently with minimal supervision, reporting to the production manager in GDS, providing technical guidance to the team and clients, and being involved in project management when necessary. You will also mentor, train, and inspire staff members to meet project objectives and proactively develop training programs for new initiatives. The ideal candidate for this position should possess clear communication skills, both written and verbal, along with 4-8 years of experience in BCM or WAM industry, including 2-3 years of senior experience. A CA or Masters degree with an accounting major is required. You should have a strong understanding of the financial industry, including fund accounting, fund structures, expense reporting, tax reporting, assets types, and derivatives. Experience in risk reporting in the BCM or WAM space, financial reporting validations, cash flow, journal adjustment procedures, and risk function deliverables is essential. Additionally, you should have a fair understanding of Technology/Framework and data systems in the WAM sector, experience in expense reporting checks for the prospectus part of the fund, knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting, and be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. Experience in regulatory tools/frameworks, proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of Python, familiarity with BRD, risk and controls mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment are desired qualities. This role requires a self-starter who can solve problems creatively and deliver results effectively. Visa readiness for the USA is preferred.
