FROZEN MANAGER EXPORTS

As a Frozen Manager in the food industry, particularly with a focus on exports, you will play a vital role in overseeing the production, storage, quality, and international shipment of frozen food products. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing daily operations in the frozen production and storage departments. - Ensuring that freezing, packaging, and labeling processes meet export market specifications. - Coordinating with production teams to fulfill international customer demand. - Ensuring compliance with global food safety standards such as HACCP, BRC, FSSC, and ISO. - Staying updated on import regulations in destination countries like FDA in the USA, EFSA in Europe, SFDA in Saudi Arabia. - Maintaining cold storage inventory and implementing FIFO/LIFO procedures. - Monitoring and documenting freezer temperatures to ensure the cold chain is maintained. - Training and managing staff involved in freezing, handling, and export preparation. - Coordinating with international buyers for order specifications and shipping timelines. - Working with packaging suppliers to ensure export-grade materials are used. Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Logistics, or International Trade. - Experience: 5+ years in food processing/cold storage with at least 2 years in export or international shipping. - Technical Knowledge: Cold chain management, freezing technologies, international food regulations, export documentation, ERP, and export compliance software. - Soft Skills: Leadership, cross-functional coordination, attention to detail with export paperwork, strong communication skills.
