Role Description

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer (Fresher) to join our team in Kolkata (on-site).

In this role, you will contribute to building intuitive, responsive, and high-quality user interfaces for modern web applications.

You will translate UI/UX designs into functional code, implement reusable components, and collaborate with senior developers to deliver seamless user experiences. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, experiment with new technologies, and grow in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design
• Strong understanding of

  HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Knowledge of React + Vite or Next.js
• Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Basic familiarity with backend concepts (APIs, database workflows)
• Basic understanding of software development principles

Probation Period

This role includes a 6-month probation period, during which performance, learning ability, teamwork, and technical growth will be evaluated. Successful completion of the probation period will confirm your full-time employment with Edwid Technologies.
