§ Responsible for preparing discharge summary and duplicate summary for internal records
§ Adherence to protocols according to hospital policy.
§ Preparing the summaries in TAT and updating the same in SAP
§ Responsible for training the team on preparing the discharge summaries.
§ Coordinating with the team on completion of pending reports.
§ Coordinating with internal department for patient records.
§ Coordinating with IT team in case of technical issues.
§ Coordinating with the billing team after preparation of discharge summary for final settlement.
§ Prepare emergency certificate, justification letter, medical certificate etc.
§ Responsible for handing over investigation reports and lab reports during patient discharge.
§ Entering the basic information at the time of patient admission into the HIS
§ Responsible for updating the patient information and records in HIS and ensure it is 100% ready during patient discharge.
§ Preparing of discharge sheet within TAT regularly.
§ Responsible for tracking & maintaining the record of number of discharge summaries done on regular basis.
§ Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
