Front Office Executive

Job Summary:

The Receptionist cum Executive (OPD) is a multitasking role responsible for both front desk operations and administrative coordination within the Outpatient Department. This role ensures smooth patient flow, effective communication between departments, and high-quality patient service while handling operational and administrative responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Patient Coordination:

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Manage patient registrations, appointment scheduling, and maintain accurate records.
• Handle incoming calls, provide necessary information, and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Assist in OPD billing, payment collection and other requirements if instructed by the Manager.
• Ensure smooth patient flow by coordinating with doctors, nurses, and other departments.

Administrative & Operational Duties:

• Ensuring efficient consultation scheduling.
• Address patient concerns, inquiries, and feedback, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical guidelines.
• Monitor documentation, generate reports, and manage OPD performance data.
• Ensure the reception and waiting areas are organized, clean, and welcoming.
• Assist in training new OPD staff on customer service, process improvements, and hospital protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or any relevant field.

• Previous experience in a hospital front office or customer service role is an advantage.

• Strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in hospital management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Patient-centric approach with a commitment to service excellence
