Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
  • Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and test bookings.
  • Manage incoming calls, provide information about services, and resolve queries.
  • Maintain patient records in the Lab Information System (LIS).
  • Coordinate with doctors, lab technicians, and radiology staff for patient flow.
  • Manage billing, cash collection, receipts, and online transactions accurately.
  • Ensure timely delivery/dispatch of reports via email, hard copy, or online portals.
  • Handle patient complaints and escalate issues to management when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records and follow data privacy norms.
  • Assist in daily administrative tasks and support overall front desk operations.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate (any discipline) preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in front office/customer service; experience in healthcare/diagnostics will be an advantage.
  • Freshers with good communication skills may also be considered.
