Description
Key Responsibilities: IT Support Engineer System & Network Administration: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, file sharing systems, and network printers. Install and upgrade operating systems (Windows, Linux) and software applications. Set up and maintain hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals. Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including patch panel and I/O troubleshooting in server rooms. Network & Security: Manage and secure network devices including switches, routers, VLANs, and routing protocols. Ensure proper configuration of port security and maintain a good understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network topologies. Virtualization & Backup: Experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware, and VirtualBox. Perform regular backups of servers, user data, and email systems. Maintain up-to-date software and applications with the latest security patches. IT Asset Management: Maintain an IT asset inventory and oversee asset assignments to staff. Provide technical support to remote sites as needed. Other Responsibilities: Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV and access control systems; experience in installation and troubleshooting. Knowledge of managing IP-PBX systems, including IP phone extension setup, maintenance, and call routing. Monitor critical IT assets, servers, and network performance. Respond promptly to helpdesk tickets and email queries. Coordinate with external vendors for ongoing IT projects. 4+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or desktop support. Nice to Have Experience: Knowledge of LIS, PACS, and RIS systems. Modalities worklist troubleshooting & PACS Management Experience managing firewalls, switching, and routing. Server room management. Backup management. Network monitoring expertise.
