Friction Finder (UX Research Intern)

Role Overview: As the Friction Finder at GoSats, your mission is to ensure that GoSats is the "simplest on-ramp to bitcoin in India" for new users who are not crypto-natives but "newbies who shop". You will be responsible for diving deep into the user's world to identify points of confusion, hesitation, and frustration, making sure that the product is not only powerful but also effortlessly intuitive for individuals discovering Bitcoin for the first time. Key Responsibilities: - Map the New User Journey: Collaborate with senior designers to visually map the entire journey of a first-time GoSats user, documenting their goals, actions, and emotions at each stage from downloading the app to making their first transaction and withdrawing their first earned assets. - Synthesize Data into Actionable Insights: Analyze qualitative data from user interviews, surveys, app store reviews, and support tickets to identify recurring themes and unmet needs. Prepare clear research reports and present findings to product managers and designers to drive concrete product improvements. - Perform Strategic Competitive Analysis: Research the user experience of key competitors, including crypto exchanges like WazirX and other FinTech rewards applications in the Indian market. Benchmark products, identify best practices, and discover opportunities for creating a differentiated and superior user experience. Qualifications Required: - Deeply curious and empathetic observer with a keen eye for detail. - Familiarity with fundamental research methodologies such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate human behaviors and observations into actionable recommendations. - Driven by a desire to advocate for the user and ensure their voice guides product decisions. - Preferred: Current student pursuing a degree related to human behavior studies like Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Anthropology, Sociology, or Design Research.,
