Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing test plans, test cases, and test data.
Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Report bugs and track them through resolution using tools like
JIRA or Bugzilla
.
Learn and assist with test automation using tools like
Selenium, Postman, TestNG
, etc.
Collaborate with developers, product teams, and senior QA engineers.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
Document test results and maintain test execution records.

Eligibility & Requirements:

Education: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/B.Sc. in
Computer Science, IT, ECE
, or a related discipline.
Year of Pass Out: [Insert Year Range] (Freshers only).
Basic understanding of
software development lifecycle (SDLC)
and
testing lifecycle (STLC)
.
Knowledge of
manual testing concepts
is a must; automation basics is a plus.
Familiarity with
bug tracking tools
and testing frameworks (optional).
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work in a team.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

Certification in Software Testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
Exposure to SQL, API testing, or basic scripting.
Understanding of Agile methodology.
