About The Role

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic

Fresher Game Asset Designer / Illustrator

to join our growing game development team in

Howrah

. This is a perfect opportunity for someone passionate about gaming, art, and digital illustration to break into the gaming industry and contribute to real projects from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design 2D game assets including characters, props, environments, UI elements, icons, etc.
  • Create high-quality illustrations and concept art that align with game themes and styles.
  • Collaborate with game designers, developers, and senior artists to bring concepts to life.
  • Ensure consistency and optimization of assets for mobile and PC platforms.
  • Revise and refine assets based on feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Game Design, or a related field (or relevant certification/training).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing 2D art, character design, game assets, and illustrations.
  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint.
  • Basic understanding of game art styles (pixel, stylized, realistic, etc.).
  • Passion for games and visual storytelling.

Good To Have (Not Mandatory)

  • Basic knowledge of Unity or Unreal Engine asset integration.
  • Familiarity with isometric or top-down game perspectives.
  • Animation or rigging knowledge (Spine, After Effects, etc.).
  • Experience with tile-based design or sprite sheets.
