Role & responsibilities

1. Checking pre-alert for the future shipments in advance & coordinate with FF/CHA to have the

check list received on time.

2. Collaborate with CHAs for timely submission and clearance of shipping documents.

3. Timely release of customs duty within the defined timeline in coordination with GES , Finance &

Taxation team & update the PO conditions for the shipments in SAP.

4. Carrying out SAP postings as per the duty check list / Freight & Insurance.

5. Taking approvals as per MAS for the deviations.

6. Completing the BOE assessment timely as per std TAT & adherence to customs regulations,

including classification of CTH , Valuation of duty ..

7. Clearing the courier BOE / Duty & bill payments for UPS/ DHL / FEDEX within 48 hours to ensure

courier shipments are delivered to user within defined timeline.

8. Uploading of BOE / SB / POD in On base with proper reconciliation & publishing the same on

monthly basis.

9. Review of PR / PO for all service providers to ensure sufficient PO available & bills are raised as

per PO.  

10. Timely release of bills to finance to meet the payment terms & ensure payments are released

on time to time as per payment terms.

11. Reconciliation of vendors O/S..

12. Raising Claim for Insurance damage / shortage etc & coordination for timely submitting all the

claim documents & closure within a month.  

13. MIS reports.
