Job Description: You are an experienced Freight Forwarder with expertise in Ocean Transportation Intermediary (OTI) operations. With a minimum of 1 year of experience, you excel in managing ocean freight shipments and ensuring the efficient delivery of goods by collaborating with shipping lines. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate all aspects of ocean freight logistics, including space booking, documentation, and shipping instructions. - Manage relationships with shipping lines, port operators, and other stakeholders in the logistics chain. - Ensure timely customs clearance and handle necessary paperwork for regulatory compliance. - Collaborate with clients to understand shipping needs and offer cost-effective solutions. - Provide regular updates to clients on shipment status, delays, and changes. - Stay informed about industry regulations, international trade changes, shipping contracts, and rates. Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in OTI roles or similar freight forwarding positions. - Proficiency in shipping contracts, rates, port operations, and customs procedures. - Knowledge of international trade regulations and shipping documentation. - Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in freight forwarding software and industry tools is preferred.
