Freight Controller

As a Freight Controller at Attero Recycling Private Limited, your role will involve coordinating and overseeing the movement of shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of materials. With your strong logistics planning, vendor management, and problem-solving skills, you will play a vital role in optimizing supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, manage, and monitor the transportation of goods to and from Attero Recycling facilities. - Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient freight movement. - Optimize freight costs through negotiation of contracts and identification of cost-saving opportunities. - Track shipments in real-time and provide regular updates to stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to transportation and hazardous materials handling. - Address and resolve transportation-related issues such as delays, damages, or route optimization challenges. - Maintain accurate records of shipments, freight costs, and vendor performance. - Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to enhance logistics efficiency. - Implement and adhere to safety standards and sustainability initiatives in freight operations. Required Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Proven experience in freight control, logistics, or transportation management. - Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. - Proficiency in logistics software and tracking tools. - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of hazardous material transportation regulations (preferred).,
