You are invited to join our logistic company in Mohali as a Freight Broker. We are looking to fill 10 positions with individuals who possess the following desired skills and experience: Customer Interaction, Customer Relationship, and Customer Service. Whether you are a fresher or have up to 2 years of experience, you are encouraged to apply. As a Freight Broker, you will have the responsibility of generating leads, attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline. This includes identifying reputable carriers for freight services, providing shipping quotes to customers, booking orders, and preparing carriers for loads. You will also be tasked with tracking the status of loads, managing scheduled collections and drop-offs, and keeping accurate records of all relevant activities. Additionally, you will need to update customers on the status of shipments and assist with any inquiries they may have. It is essential to maintain current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace. To qualify for this role, you must have a High School Diploma or suitable equivalent, along with at least 1 year of work experience in a similar position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites is required, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills (both verbal and written), and outstanding people skills. You should also possess proficient negotiating skills and a demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
