About the Company

We are a U.S.-based freight brokerage operation with an offshore logistics center in Mohali, providing full-spectrum transportation solutions to clients across North America. Our team works in real time with U.S. shippers, carriers, and partner brokers to ensure seamless freight movement and operational excellence.

As part of our growing India operations, we are looking for experienced Freight Brokers who possess a strong understanding of the U.S. logistics landscape and are capable of managing brokerage functions independently.

Role Overview

The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing relationships with shippers and carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring efficient execution of freight movement. The ideal candidate should demonstrate commercial acumen, operational discipline, and an ability to perform under dynamic market conditions.

This position demands clear communication, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience with U.S. freight operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between U.S. shippers and carriers, ensuring all shipments are executed efficiently.
• Negotiate freight rates and secure carrier capacity in alignment with customer requirements and market trends.
• Monitor and track shipments through to delivery, resolving any operational issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed documentation and update load statuses within the company’s TMS platforms.
• Build and expand carrier and customer networks through relationship management and consistent follow-ups.
• Collaborate with internal dispatch, accounting, and compliance teams to ensure smooth post-load processes.
• Stay informed about market fluctuations, lane rates, and seasonal demand shifts to optimize profitability.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3 months of experience in U.S. freight brokerage, dispatch, or transportation management.
• Strong command over spoken and written English with proven ability to negotiate effectively.
• Working knowledge of DAT, Truckstop, TMS systems, and other logistics platforms.
• Sound understanding of U.S. geography, freight lanes, and carrier compliance.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work U.S. night shifts (EST/CST timings) from the Mohali office.

Compensation: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience & performance)
