Freelance Visual Merchandiser

As a Visual Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by creating visually appealing displays that are in line with the brand's identity and effectively showcase products. Your responsibilities will include developing creative merchandising concepts, designing in-store layouts and window displays, and collaborating with store teams and marketing to ensure consistent brand messaging. Regular site visits will be necessary to maintain display standards, alongside sourcing materials and overseeing installations. Staying updated on retail trends, design innovations, and customer behavior will be essential to excel in this role. The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record in visual merchandising, especially within the fashion or lifestyle retail sector. A keen creative eye, a deep understanding of branding, and storytelling skills are key attributes we are looking for. The ability to work autonomously, juggle multiple projects effectively, and strong time management and communication skills are crucial. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite is required, while knowledge of SketchUp is considered a plus. A willingness to travel and work flexible hours is also expected.
