Role Description

SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Workflow Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure

  SAP BTP Workflow

  solutions for business process automation.
• Implement workflow definitions, user tasks, service tasks, and decision logic.
• Integrate workflows with

  SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)

  services, SAP S/4HANA, and other systems.
• Configure

  Business Rules

  and manage workflow instances via SAP Fiori applications.
• Develop custom UI5/Fiori apps for workflow tasks where required.
• Work with

  SAP BTP destinations

  , security configurations, and API management.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into workflow solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize workflows for performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with

  SAP BTP Workflow Management

  .
• Proficiency in

  SAP Business Rules

  service and workflow APIs.
• Experience integrating workflows with

  SAP S/4HANA

  and non-SAP systems.
• Knowledge of

  SAP CAP

  or Node.js/Java for service development on BTP.
• Familiarity with

  SAP Fiori/UI5

  development for workflow tasks.
• Understanding of

  SAP BTP Security

  , including roles, destinations, and OAuth.
• Knowledge of

  Cloud Foundry

  environment within SAP BTP.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture using SAP Event Mesh (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
