Freelance Safety Officer - Construction Industry

As a Safety Officer, your role involves identifying and assessing hazards, risks, and control measures for specific operations or processes. You will conduct ongoing reviews to identify potential hazards and implement control measures to reduce risks. Your responsibilities will include: - Assessing and documenting hazards, risks, and controls following established procedures. - Setting up and supervising temporary work areas. - Supervising the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials. - Ensuring the safe operation of potential hazards in the workplace. - Improving workplace safety and employee productivity by transitioning to digital safety management systems. - Ensuring all company employees comply with OSHA requirements and providing OSHA training if necessary. - Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. - Investigating workplace accidents and injuries and reporting them to the appropriate authorities.
