We are currently seeking a Safety Officer to join our team. As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing hazards, risks, and control measures for specific operations or processes. You will conduct ongoing reviews to identify potential hazards and implement necessary control measures to mitigate risks. It will be your responsibility to document hazards and controls following established procedures and practices. In this role, you will also set up and supervise temporary work areas, oversee the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials, and ensure the safe operation of any potential hazards in the workplace. You will play a key role in improving workplace safety and employee productivity by transitioning from manual safety procedures to digital safety management systems. Additionally, as a Safety Officer, you will ensure that all company employees comply with OSHA requirements and provide OSHA training when necessary. You will monitor adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies and investigate workplace accidents and injuries, reporting them to the appropriate authorities.
