Freelance Safety Officer - Construction Industry

As a Safety Officer at our company, your main responsibilities will include: - Identifying and assessing hazards, risks, and control measures for specific operations or processes. - Conducting ongoing reviews of operations and processes to identify potential hazards, risks, and control measures for implementation. - Assessing and documenting hazards, risks, and controls following established procedures. - Setting up and supervising temporary work areas. - Supervising the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials. - Supervising the operation of potential hazards in the workplace. - Improving workplace safety and employee productivity by transitioning to digital safety management systems. - Ensuring that all employees meet OSHA requirements. - Providing OSHA training when necessary. - Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. - Investigating workplace accidents and injuries and reporting them to the appropriate authorities.
