Freelance Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  GraphQL APIs

  using

  NodeJS

• Implement and optimize

  AWS Lambda

  ,

  DynamoDB

  ,

  SQS

  , and

  EventBridge

  integrations for backend workflows.
• Build and deploy applications leveraging AWS-native CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate GraphQL APIs into

  React

  and

  React Native

  applications.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security across distributed systems.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture design sessions.

Required Skills

• NodeJS

  and

  TypeScript

  : 3+ years of professional experience.

• GraphQL

  : Deep understanding of schema design, resolvers, and query optimization.

• GraphQL Yoga

  &

  GraphQL Mesh

  : Hands-on experience building modular and federated schemas.

• AWS Components

  : Expertise with Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and EventBridge.

• CI/CD

  : Experience with AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

• Frontend Exposure

  : Familiarity with React and React Native for GraphQL integrations.
• Strong understanding of API performance, caching, and error handling patterns.

Nice to Have

• Experience with serverless architecture and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization (Cognito, JWT, etc.).
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and design systems.
