Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Freelance Managing Editor with 8 to 15 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences industry, preferably with a background in managing editorial teams and projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to work independently.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and oversee the development of high-quality content for various pharmaceutical products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely publication of articles and other materials.
Develop and implement effective editorial strategies to engage target audiences.
Conduct research and interviews to stay updated on industry trends and developments.
Review and edit manuscripts, articles, and other written materials for accuracy and quality.
Coordinate with authors, designers, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as an editor or managing editor in the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences industry.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Familiarity with publishing software and systems is desirable.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or a related field is preferred.
