Core Responsibilities & Expertise

• Extrusion Process Mastery:

  The expert should have comprehensive knowledge of both

  single and twin-screw extrusion systems

  , including a mastery of key operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, moisture content, and screw speed. A critical skill is the ability to adjust these parameters to achieve optimal pellet density, digestibility, and expansion for various fish species and life stages.

• Raw Material & Formulation:

  The consultant must understand the properties of various ingredients, including fishmeal, plant proteins, and starches, and how they affect the extrusion process. This includes the ability to formulate nutritionally balanced feeds and troubleshoot issues related to ingredient-specific challenges.

• Quality Control & Troubleshooting:

  A strong focus on quality assurance is essential. The expert will guide us in implementing and monitoring quality control measures, including raw material inspection and finished product analysis. They should also be skilled in identifying and resolving common production issues, such as uneven consistency, blockages, or problems with pellet durability and water stability.

• Maintenance & Safety:

  The candidate will provide guidance on the routine mechanical and electrical maintenance of extrusion equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. They should also have a strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
