Freelance Consultant - Central Tariff & Data Governance

Our client, an Indian multinational healthcare group is looking to engage with experienced professionals for their Central Tariff & Data Governance team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end central tariff processes

  , including reviewing, validating, standardizing, and approving tariff change requests from hospital units before submission to IT.

• Conduct detailed tariff, SOC, and package comparisons

  to ensure alignment with contract terms and identify mismatches, discrepancies, or outliers across units.

• Maintain and update master data

  by supporting data clean-up, standardization, and ensuring uniform templates, formats, and naming conventions across all units.

• Work with large multi-unit datasets

  , performing data verification, structuring, cleaning, and version control using advanced Excel skills.

• Document and organize tariff-related files

  systematically, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and proper storage for all stakeholders.

• Adopt simple automation tools

  (Power Query, basic Python, or Excel macros) to streamline repetitive tasks and improve process efficiency.

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of hospital tariffs

  , SOCs, package structures, inclusions/exclusions, and basic contract terminology.

• Advanced Excel proficiency

  , including comparisons, data cleaning, structuring, and maintaining version control.

• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset

  , with the ability to verify data accuracy, identify mismatches, and spot outliers across units.

• Comfort working with multi-unit files and large datasets

  , ensuring accuracy and consistency across formats.

• Strong documentation and organization skills
