Role Description

This is a contract role for a Freelance Agriculture Consultant, located on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Consultant will be responsible for providing expertise on agricultural practices, advising on sustainable farming methods, assessing soil and crop health, and developing plans for improved agricultural productivity. The role also involves collaborating with clients on projects to optimize their agricultural operations and ensuring adherence to environmental guidelines and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in agriculture, farming techniques, and crop management
• Skills in soil health analysis, pest management, and sustainable agricultural practices
• Ability to develop and recommend effective strategies for maximizing agricultural yield
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities for tackling agricultural challenges
• Familiarity with local agricultural laws and environmental regulations in the Kolkata region
• Previous project-based experience or consulting experience in agriculture is preferred
• Relevant educational background in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related fields
