Fraud Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fraud Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in protecting the organization and its customers from financial fraud. You will monitor, analyze, and investigate suspicious activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective fraud prevention strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze transaction data to identify unusual patterns and potential fraudulent activities.
• Investigate fraud alerts using internal systems, external databases, and communication with stakeholders.
• Assess risks associated with various transactions, accounts, and user behaviors.
• Collaborate with the customer support team to resolve escalations related to fraud claims.
• Document all investigations and findings, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Develop and enhance fraud detection rules and strategies using analytical tools and methodologies.
• Stay updated on emerging fraud trends, techniques, and tools within the industry.
• Prepare reports and provide insights on fraud activity to senior management.
• Recommend improvements to existing processes to reduce fraud risks and enhance customer trust.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fraud analysis, risk management, or a related field (13 years preferred).
• Familiarity with fraud detection tools such as SAS, Actimize, or similar systems.
